Assistant Estimator (“AE”) responsibilities include coordinating with Estimators to ensure that bid opportunities are categorized and important relevant information is organized for review. This role will be responsible for accumulating and organizing documents and bid information for Estimators as outlined below:
AE will support Estimators with bid procurement tasks, including:
AE will assist Estimators with bid development tasks, as required
AE will attend all scheduled estimating meetings to maintain awareness of existing and backlog –(upcoming) bid opportunities.
Additional AE support as required and directed by Lead Estimator.
AE will report to the Lead Estimator (LE Doug Pigue) and the LE will set AE priorities on a weekly basis. This position may require limited travel to project pre-bids.
