We are looking for an Electrical Planner with industry experience to join our TEAM!

The ideal candidate will be responsible for the daily planning of electrical work in a nuclear decommissioning environment. Candidate must pass a criminal background check and have prior experience in related role.

Project Location: Ocean County, NJ

Project Duration: Approx. 1 Year

Duties and Responsibilities

This individual will be responsible for the detailed planning and scheduling of the electrical work to which they are assigned.

Integrate multiple engineering information packages and develop construction plans and other deliverables for the field and supervision
Ensures that proper safety procedures are specified and documented on all planned jobs.
Participates in planning detailed shutdown and turnaround work
Orderly flow of the work order system ensuring all work requested by the supervisor is completed on a timely basis as indicated by the work priority.
Determine activities required for completion of a work order (W/O)
Walk down jobs for work order clarification
Estimate labor resources and bill of material with supervision
Coordinate and conduct scheduling meeting to determine planned maintenance activities
Determine dates and duration to complete W/O
Coordinate with engineering and supervision as required to complete the work

· Familiarity with Electrical work

· Ability to plan and support execution of activities in nuclear/decommissioning environments


· Associate Degree in a relevant engineering discipline is preferred (would consider work experience)

· 7-10 years’ experience in maintenance, operations, or utilities with applicable skilled trade requirements

· Intimate knowledge of the NEC standards and NFPA 70E

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

· Time management and organizational skills are required.

· Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is required.

· OSHA 10 or 30 Training required.

· Capable of handling multiple projects

· Collaboration and team building skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 – $150,000.00 per year
