Champion has been proud to support the construction of the new Inter Miami FC Soccer Stadium through three separate contracts with S&R Enterprises, Steel Fabricators, and Lemartec Corporation. Each contract brought its own scope, challenges, and opportunities that our team tackled with the professionalism, flexibility, and technical skills that define Champion.
For S&R Enterprises, our crew completed Slip B critical coating remediation during two mobilizations in October 2025 and March 2026. With Steel Fabricators, we provided field painting for the stadium’s scoreboards between December 2025 and January 2026. And under Lemartec Corporation, our team has been performing coating repairs via lift access since March 2026, while also being trusted to provide Quality Control oversight for other contractors on site. Across all three scopes, our work centered on surface preparation and coating application to structural steel, a key component of bringing this new stadium to life.
Under Steel Fabricators, our team frequently provided supplemental support and refinement to keep the work on track, remaining ready to respond quickly as paint windows shifted daily around critical steel lifts and erections. Managing labor and cost under a lump‑sum contract required tight coordination and discipline. Steel Fabricators later shared their appreciation for the team’s effort, noting: “Your team was awesome in the field and the product that you put out was outstanding.” They added, “Everything from paperwork to finished product was on point and done very professionally.”
With Lemartec, our team was called in just one week before the stadium’s home opener to perform lift‑access coating repairs in hard‑to‑reach areas. We received the call on a Friday and had the job set up with crews on site first thing Monday morning. That responsiveness is a testament to the team’s commitment and capability.
Champion’s hard work, flexibility, and problem‑solving helped keep this high‑profile project moving and showcased exactly why Champion is trusted on complex, fast‑moving jobs like the Nu Stadium.
