Champion Painting Specialty Services (CPSSC) is a Union Contractor with offices located throughout the United States and the US Territory of Guam. The organization has ongoing projects nationwide and is continuously seeking candidates to join our team of professionals.

Responsibilities

Painting large structures inclusive of bridges, tanks, military bases, arenas etc.
Cleaning surfaces prior to layering paint.
Maintaining technical equipment for the job and ensuring that they are in working order.
Handling a wide array of painting tools, including thin and thick brushes, airbrushes, and rollers.
Ensuring that high safety standards are met.
Ensuring proper ventilation after paint is applied.

Journeyman Qualifications

CAS level 1; or C-7 and C-12 cards upon request (minimum Journeyman referral slip)
Valid Driver License and Reliable transportation
OSHA 30 (OSHA 10 will be accepted initially)
Suspended Scaffold Training Card
High reach/ Man-lift Training Card
First Aid/ CPR Card
Fall Protection Card
Confined Space Card (if required by project) Preferred
Prior Pulmonary function and respirator fit test paperwork – CPSSC must retest all new hires
Previous employer/project supervisor contact information
