Nuclear Quality Assurance

NQA

The CPSSC Nuclear Quality Assurance Program (hereafter known as the NQAP) is developed to comply with regulatory, industry, and customer quality requirements imposed by customers or regulatory agencies for items and services provided by the CPSSC companies’ operations.

The NQAP describes the CPSSC commitments to the quality assurance requirements of the Code of Federal Regulation Title 10, Part 50, Appendix B – Quality Assurance Criteria for Nuclear Power Plants and Fuel Reprocessing Plants, the Code of Federal Regulation Title 10, Part 830, Subpart A – Quality Assurance Requirements, NRC Regulatory Guide 1.28 Rev. 4 Quality Assurance Program Criteria (Design and Construction), and NQA-1 (1994/2004/2008) Quality Assurance Requirements for Nuclear Facilities.

Champion applies the same level of commitment to quality across all nuclear services such as procuring, constructing, handling, shipping, receiving, storing, cleaning, erecting, installing, inspecting, testing, servicing, and decommissioning.

NIAC Membership

Champion Specialty Services, LLC (CSS) has been qualified and approved as an authorized member # 312 in the Nuclear Industry Assessment Corporation (NIAC) shared audit program based on a standard approach for the performance of supplier audits utilizing a standard checklist.
